The Adam Smith Center (Centrum im. Adama Smitha) brings together permanent experts – economists, lawyers, political scientists, sociologists and also representatives of other branches. The Adam Smith Center has a country-wide outreach and concentrates on activities promoting the free market – conducting researches, carrying out education activities, drafting legal systemic solutions.

 

Construction and Investments Union (Unia Rynku Budowlano-Inwestycyjnego)Logo URBI

URBI brings together organisations and companies from the construction and investments industry. It is the first organisation of its kind in Poland, which aims to raise the profile of the construction and investments industry in the Polish economy. URBI’s mission is to introduce competitive standards in the Polish construction and investments sectors and to set top European standards in order to unleash the potential of the whole industry, of its professions and businesses alike.

 

Rudnicka & ConsultinglogoRC

Rudnicka & Consulting is a consulting company operating on the real estate market. The President of the Institute, Marzena Rudnicka, is also the owner of Rudnicka & Consulting and an expert of the Adam Smith Center. She is the author of innovative solutions in the area of commercial services for older persons and of a report dealing with silver economy as a new branch of the national economy („Gospodarka senioralna nową gałęzią gospodarki narodowej”, 2013). She has introduced new concepts in this area, such as “gospodarka senioralna” (in Polish also “srebrna gospodarka” – silver economy) and “cluster of services for seniors” (“klaster usług senioralnych”).

The ARCHIMED company is specialised in architecture related to the health service. The company designs among others hospitals, clinics and nursing homes.

Medical projects realised by ARCHIMED are based on knowledge in the field of medical technology and of functional and economic optimisation.

The Carework company is engaged in elderly care in Poland and Germany. The company provides its services since 2007.

Its main areas of activity are: provision of care services, placement, search of contracts in Poland and Germany for caregivers of older persons, counseling for families of older people in Poland and Germany as regards the organisation of care for seniors with a reduced scope of movement and neurological disorders, training in the field of elderly care and care of disabled people, introduction of innovative solutions in care of elderly, disabled and sick people – e.g. the project “button of life” (“Guzik życia”).

Together with other agencies, Carework belongs to the Section of Care Agencies (Sekcja Agencji Opieki) of the Association of Employment Agencies (Stowarzyszenie Agencji Zatrudnienia).

The Polish Federation of Associations of Universities of the Third Age (Ogólnopolska Federacja Stowarzyszeń Uniwersytetów Trzeciego Wieku) brings together non-governmental organizations carrying out educational or active ageing activities and organisations active in the field of protection of rights of older people.

Since 2009 the Federation is conducting a consultation and advice point (Punkt Konsultacyjno-Doradczy), where volunteers and workers of the Federation provide legal, organizational and financial consultations and advices, as well as consultations and advices as regards the drafting of grant applications.

The Federation is one of the organisers of the Forum of the Third Age (Forum III Wieku), which is a conference accompanying the Economic Forum in Krynica Zdrój.

 

PSG-logoPolish Senior Golf Association (PSGS)

PSGS represents Polish senior golf players (men aged 55+ and women aged 50+) towards the European Senior Golf Association, which gathers organisations from 23 EU Member States.

PSGS promotes and supports the development of golf in Poland, as one the few sports and recreational disciplines, popular in the world, enabling a health-promoting activity until an old age.

 

PSPS_logoPolish Association of Audiologists (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Protetyków Słuchu, PSPS)

PSPS has been created in 1996 and is the single formal representation of legal entities (representatives of producers and of distributors of hearing aids) and natural persons (professionally involved in hearing prosthesis) operating all over Poland.

 

gs-logo-10-5Go Silver – Active Initiative Foundation (Fundacja Inicjatyw Aktywnych Go Silver)

The Go Silver – Active Initiative Foundation is an NGO and its mission is to activate older people.

The Go Silver Foundation is organising grass roots initiatives for older people all over the country, carrying out social projects with the help of governmental support programmes, i.e. the Governmental Programme for Senior Citizens’ Social Activity (Rządowy Program na rzecz Aktywizacji Społecznej Osób Starszych) and the Civic Initiatives Fund (Fundusz Inicjatyw Obywatelskich).

The initiatives of the Foundation are characterised by intergenerational integration and cooperation between sectors.

 

Ochota University of the Third Age Association “OMEGA” (Stowarzyszenie Ochocki Uniwersytet Trzeciego Wieku „OMEGA”)

The “OMEGA” Association is an NGO, which exists since 2006.

In 2015, the Association brought together 220 members, who were the beneficiaries of an educational and sports programme.

The organisation is financed from 3 sources: a multiannual contract with the Warsaw Town Council, a contract with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in the framework of the Programme for Senior Citizens’ Social Activity (Rządowy Program na rzecz Aktywizacji Społecznej Osób Starszych) and annual contributions of members of the Association.

 

Teraz PolskaPolish Promotional Emblem Foundation “Teraz Polska”

The Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation “Teraz Polska” promotes a positive image of Polish and Poles both domestically and abroad. The competition “Teraz Polska” (“Now Poland”) distinguishes the best Polish products, services, innovative projects as well as municipalities, which receive the Emblem “Teraz Polska” as a synonym of highest quality.

The Foundation promotes achievements of Poles in various domains (competition “Outstanding Pole”), fosters a positive and modern patriotism (magazine “Teraz Polska”) and encourages students to take up research about the competitiveness of Poland (competition “Teraz Polska Promotion and Development”).
