A New Quality for Seniors

Project “A New Quality for Seniors”
in the framework of the 2014-2020 ASOS Programme, 2015 edition

The project „A New Quality for Seniors” is carried out by the Institute in order to elaborate first measures for a sustainable development of the silver economy. The creation of services for the elderly, the projects of senior housing and the development of entrepreneurship in this still new branch of the Polish economy requires a definition of accessibility criteria and certification principles. The sustainable development of the silver economy depends upon a consistent certification system. The project „A New Quality for Seniors” is focusing on care services. A team of outstanding experts has been created especially for this project. The team will elaborate accessibility criteria and principles of certification of care services, including staff providing care services.

Aim of the Project

The aim of the project “A New Quality for Seniors” is to ensure a high quality of services provided and to improve the living standards and safety of the elderly.

What we will do: definition of accessibility criteria and certification of social care services, including certification of staff providing social care services.

Team of Experts

The team of experts is composed of experts holding great experience in various fields of economy and specialising in issues linked to silver economy.

Marzena Rudnicka, Robert Gwiazdowski, Bolesław Meluch, Grzegorz Kalla, Michael Gomola i Robert Kwiatkowski will cooperate in order to make the goals of the project come true and to contribute to the widening of accessibility to social care services before the end of 2015.
